I Got Home Today....

Thu Aug 20, 2009, 8:19 PM
after working a full day of work,
a figure drawing session,
an hour drive home,
and having planned to play some video games before crashing all day long.......
to an empty apartment....
and a TV...
that apparently....
no longer works.

It's a three year old TV..
rather nice, but not too nice, just right.
A samsung...
apparently we had a power outage at some point in the day.
I fiddle with all the wires...
got the little red light to go on,
but no picture.

Now.....
I think I'll go cry myself to sleep!

Back from Con

hey, made it safely back to LA, and had to sit next to some sort of drug dealer in the airport lobby to do it....yeah......

Anyway, I had a great time. Sales were not great but not terrible, and the experience was well worth it anyway. Met some DA people and got to hang with all my old college buddies as well as my awesome sister :D

I hope to do it again. It seems that the schedule for conventions is shifting around next year. There are a few more small ones in LA and a new one for Chicago, so I gotta figure out where I'll be next and hopefully get my first issue of Witchman out SOON!

In other news... the studio I am currently working at looks like it's going under soon, so I gotta find myself another means of paying the rent.... should be interesting....

Thanks for all the faves and comments on all the fan art I've been posting lately, much appreciated! Sorry I can't get back to all the comments! I am done doing fan art for now, must focus my attention on my comic book. I hope to get more love and support on it, so please keep reading it off my website in the future, and if you can spare the money, purchase a copy... I haven't had any sales over the web yet, and I am anxious to do so! the site is [link]

I am going to be focusing also on storyboarding in the future, and I am going to be posting a bunch of old stuff in my scraps off of my website.

Also, I will be at Wizard World Chicago next month, and will not be around, but I look forwards to doing a lot of drawing and selling! If you are going, please visit me at my table! :D I shall have copies of my comic to sell at discount there.

And just out of curiousity, how many people who are watching me are actually reading my journals.....?
