EDIT: hey guys, since I'm in a creative block (using all my juices on the comic) I'm doing side projects of fixing up/sharpening up some pieces I did a long time ago.... so this one is the first! I think it looks better now :D

That is some awesome coloring. I wish I had the patience to come up with something as pretty as this, but I'm forever doomed to use black and white/grey scale. XD

I really dig the lighting on this though! I also like the fairy's clothing/armor.

Thank you! I'm still not sure if I'm 100% satisfied with this pic, but ah well... grey scale is fun too! I'm not sure if I want to do more with this "character"... his armor by the way is made of pieces and chunks of turtle shell heehee

thanks... I'm still not completely happy with his face, but I think it looks better close up.. hmm... might have to work on that some more at some point. I started this in marker and it was going pretty sucky, but it ended up well in photoshop. I think I made up my own oxymoron.. .however that's spelled. It is funny talking about all the pretty colors in a pic where a spider is getting skewered and there's puss and guts dripping all over the place. haha. I'm trying to think up a name for the fairy in case I decide to make him a character... maybe Darben...

This is sweet! A lot of wonderful detail on the wings and armor! That bug looks so creepy geaowwwww *shutters* But yeah, you did an awesome job with the lighting, it makes everything look so alive!

thank you so much! I don't like bugs either... I was debating whether or not to actually look up close up photos of spiders... but then I was like... nah.. .I'd get grossed out. eight eyes eight legs... people will get the idea.

This reminds me of the video charactors from Everquest: Echos of Faydwer. I see kick ass Fairies everyday. Great pic by the way. +fav

I beleive there is an armor made out of a combination of turtle and crab shells but only cetain classes can wear it.

There are a bunch of videos on youtube of the Everquest fighting fae.
